Roschon Prince, 6-6 WF, ICP ELite scored 28 points on 10 of 13 shooting from the field to help the Elite to a 76-66 win over the Metro Hawks. He did an excellent job of taking it off the dribble and finished in the paint with efficiency while we watched. His Elite teammate 6-6 wing man Kameron Chatman caught our eye scoring 14 points and pulling down 7 rebounds. He is a left hander with range to arc and tools to create drive and bounce to get on the glass.
Jonathan Severe, 6-2 SG, New York Lightning had a huge game with 32 points in a tough 84-83 loss to the Georgia Stars. He slashed to the rim and hit jumper off the pull-up when we watched. The Georgia Stars were lead by 6-1 combo guard Isaiah Williams who had 24 points including 4 of 8 from beyond the arc.
Jordan Matthews, 6-3 SG, California Supreme went for 29 points fueled by a 5 of 5 performance from three to lead the Supreme to a 69-50 victory over the St. Louis Eagles. He has good length and the quickness to create drive to hoop to. The Supreme's 6-10 post forward Marcus Lee had a huge game versus the Georgai Stars scoring 17 points and grabbing 6 rebounds as the Supreme upended the Stars 64-36 on Saturday afternoon.
Dakari Johnson, 6-10 (2014) C, E1T1 big man took it to Team United scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds in a 49-40 win over the Carolina squad. He is a man on the blocks who dominates with his strength and solid low block skill set.
Jubril Adekoya, 6-6 CF, Meanstreets tough hard nosed front court scorer went for 18 points twice today, including their 68-60 win over Team Takeover. He has a real nose for the ball and showed he can pop out and attack off the dribble from 17-feet off the dribble, then finish with contact in the paint.
Stephen Clark, 5-10 CG, Athlete's First high scoring point guard had 19 points including 5-threes in their 47-45 win over Boo Williams. He followed that up with a 25 point effort versus the Southern Stampede. He has an Erving Walker type game that someone is going to be happy they take a chance on at the high major level.
James Young, 6-7 WF, The Family wing man had one of the most impressive performances this weekend going for 29 points and grabbing 14 boards. He also knocked down five of seven shots from three and had crowd buzzing on couple occassions with his physical drive and throwdowns.
Austin Ruder, 6-2 SG, MoKan Elite put on a shooting show knocking down 7 of 10 from beyond the arc to finish with 28 points. He was in the zone this morning that is a fact. His 6-6 teammate Semi Ojeleye took over this evening for MoKan as he went for 23 points and grabbed 10 boards while hitting eight of eleven from the field. He has really blown up this winter and has had a steady stream of coaches following his games in Eagan.
Kameron Williams, 6-3 SG, Baltimore Elite was on fire today as he hit 8 of 12 three pointers to finish with 32 points in his club's 82-72 win over The Family. He has quicks and handle to create drive too, so when his shot is falling he is tough to stop.
