M33M Elite guard makes top fifty statement!

This weekend at the "Real Deal in the Rock" was our first look at one of the fastest rising prospects in the Class of 2013 inM33M_Elite M33M Elite guard, 6-5 175-pound, Robert Hubbs III from Newbern, TN Dyer County High. He has blown this spring after a great high school season, and he made a believer out of me with his ability to light it up for the M33M Elite squad leading them to the Mike Conley Bracket title.

He is a little on the thin side, but he has the length, quickness, and bounce to score over and around bigs in paint or knock down jumper inside the arc. He sets it up with a solid three point stroke that keeps the defense off balance. He has a clam and confidence in his game that says he will be a star down the road in college, especially once he starts to fill out and stength to go with the above mentioned athletic gifts. He told us that he had a long list of schools, but was emphatic that no one leads at this point. He listed the following schools.

Memphis, Arkansas, Oklahoma state, Missouri, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Florida, but based on some of the schools, like Duke, South Carolina, and Kentucky,  that were in gym when we watched, so we expect that list to grow...so stay tuned, right here at XOfan.com as we will follow his recruitment this spring.

Also look for him to jump into the top fifty rankings when we do our pre-summer update this spring.
