Central Michigan adds juco point guard...
Monday, 26 April 2010 12:19 Written by Van Coleman Ernie Zeigler and his Central Michigan staff have added a solid floor leader in Paris Paramore... We got a chance to talk with Triton CC Head Coach Steve Christiansen this afternoon and he confirmed that his 6-0 170-pound point guard Paris Paramore had signed with Central Michigan.
"We just sent in his national letter to Central Michigan," Coach Christiansen told Hoopmasters. "He had a great visit to CMU with his mom and uncle and just felt it offered him the things he wanted."
Paris has a plan for life after basketball, Christiansen continued. "CMU being the winner of the top academic school in the MAC was a big plus in their favior. It was a tough decision, but I think that put them over the top."
He averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and just over 5 assists an outing for Triton and has the ability to run the show for Central Michigan right away, but is his leadership that sets him apart says Coach Christiansen.
"He's a winner, he does what it takes to make the team better, makes plays and knows how to get it done running the show. He leads by example can handle and create or make offensive play when needed. He just gets it done!"
He chose Central Michigan over Eaastern Michigan, Stony Brook, and Loyola-Illinois.
