Central Florida adds Kentucky guard

According to various sources, the Central Florida Golden Knights have received a commitment from 6-3 sharpshooter Taylor Barnette from Lexington, KY Christian Academy.

Barnette visited the Orlando campus last week and decided it was h right place for him in the future.

The skilled lefty can flat out stroke the jumper as he showed at the Pangos Camp last spring. He averaged 17 points and 6 boards as a junior for Lexington Christian last winter, but we think he'll put up some big numbers this winter. He can create his own shot off the dribble or get to hoop and finish. Look for him to add perimeter fire power foe Central Florida as a freshman.

He chose Central Florida over Liberty, Furman, Manhattan, and Wofford.
