According to a source close to the program, and confirmed by the Lawrence Journal World, the Kansas Jayhawks continuedandrew_white to add to their class of 2012 with the commitment of 6-6 Andrew White, our No.63 rated senior, from Charlottesville, VA Miller School.

He is an explosive scorer with range to the NBA arc, that sets up his ability to attack the hoop off the dribble with big-time explosion on the finish. He has gone from athletic shooter to big-time driver and scorer. He also has the tools, quickness and length, to become a lock down defender on the perimeter for the Bill Self's squad. Look for him to compete for major PT as a freshman next fall in Lawrence.

He chose Kansas over interest from N.C. State, West Virginia, Louisville, Texas, Georgetown and Richmond.

He joins 6-8 Perry Ellis, 6-9 Landen Lucas, 6-9 Zach Peters, and 6-4 Anrio Adams in the Kansas Class of 2012!
