Tom Herrion and his Marshall Thundering Herd added a quality addition to their front court in a prep school forward on the finalRyan_Taylor day of the binding spring signing period

Ryan Taylor averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds for Chatham, VA Hargrave Military Academy last winter, and the former Louisville commit is taking his ability to score and board from the wing to the Marshall Thundering herd. The 6-6 wing was a main go to guy for the 38-1, No.2 rated, prep school squad. He has really improved his perimeter jumper to set up dribble drive and finish that is the strength of his game. he should make an immediate impact with the Herd, and marshall head Coach Tom Herrion agrees.

"Ryan is a great addition to our Marshall basketball family," Herrion said in a press release. "We are truly excited to add such a terrific player and person. Ryan had a tremendous season playing for coach Hamilton at Hargrave and comes from arguably the best prep school program in the country. Ryan has great versatility and will only continue to get better."

He joins Kareem Canty, Elijah Pittman, Tamron Manning and D.D. Scarver in the Marshall Class of 2012.
