NBPA Top 100 Camp Day One

Some of the top names started slow on day one, but a number of others did just what they came toNBAT100Camp do, impress! So here is our opening day look at the top performers on day one at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Charlottesville, VA:

Top Performers: (Listed by Height)

Mamadou Ndiaye 7-5 C 2013 Huntington Beach, CA Brethren Christian - He showed his potential going for 19 points and 8 boards in early game. He is an intriguing prospect with size, length and major upside.
 
John Egbunu 7-0 C 2013 Eagles Landing, GA McDonough - He went for 10 and 12 points in first two games and showed he had ability to block and alter shots. Definitely on the rise!
 
Sidy Mohamed-Djitte 6-10 C 2013 Fayetteville, NC Northwood Temple -  He had a 10 point and 7 rebound effort in the morning game. He has excellent timing on shot block, can get to rim on post and turn or pop out.
 
Cliff Alexander 6-9 C 2014 Chicago, IL Curie - He had 12 points and 4 boards in early game we watched and showed he is continuing the stellar play he started at Pangos Camp...one of best players at Top 100 Camp!

Dwight Coleby 6-9 C 2013 Piney Woods, MS High - He had solid effort in night game scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 boards. He's long has good bounce and attacks board off face-up.

Kuran Iverson 6-9 PF 2013 Hartford, CT Northwest Catholic - He exploded tonight in the second half to finish with 13 points. He attacked the rim with aggression and explosion off the floor, but can he keep it up!

Bobby Portis 6-9 PF 2013 Little Rock Hall AR - He was aggressive in early game scoring 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He showed he can face and score off dribble with best bigs in Charlottesville.

Austin Colbert 6-9 PF 2013 Lakeville Hotchkiss School - He was one of top performers in first game scoring 10 points with putbacks and solid post up game.

Zena Edosomwan 6-8 PF North Hollywood, CA Harvard-Westlake -  This Harvard commit was steady all day scoing 12 points twice and averaging 7.5 boards a game.
 
Jarell Martin 6-8 PF 2013 Baton Rouge, LA Madison Prep LA - He wasn't as dominanat as in Long Beach, but he started to warm up tonight, so we expect some big things for the future,

Noah Vonleh 6-8 W/PF 2014 New Hampton Prep NH – Silky smooth Athlete can knock down jumper to arc  or attack hoop and finish in traffic with kiss off the glass or flush.

Jabari Parker 6-8 2013  Chicago Simeon IL – Nation’s top player started slowly yesterday, but finished strong in nightcap scoring 12 points in first half before minor injury sat him rest of game.

Kevon Looney 6-7 WF 2014 Milwaukee, WI Hamilton WI- He was one of top players at Elite 100 and continued to play well on day one here with 11 points in both games and solid 7 board effort in night cap.

Brannen Greene 6-7 WF 2013 Forsyth, GA Mary Persons – Was most consistent player on day one knocking down jumper to three, scoring off pull up or finishing at rim. He had 18 points and 5 boards in the night cap.

Troy Williams 6-7 2013 Mouth of Wilson Oak Hill VA – He started strong on day one averaging 11 points per game and showing a lot of confidence in pull-up jumper and ability to get to hoop and finish in traffic.

Tyler Robeson 6-7 2013 Union H.S. NJ – He had a big game in night cap scoring 14 points and showed he can knock down jumper with regularity from around the perimeter to go with slash and finish he showed in early game.

Andrew Harrison 6-5 2013 Richmond Ft.. Bend Travis TX – He had one of best games in the night cap, scoring 13 points handing out 8 assists and grabbing 5 boards. He is a versatile combo guard for high major level.

Sindarius Thornwell 6-4 2013 Lancaster H.S. SC – He exploded for 19 points in the opener hitting three and knocking in pull –up or finishing at the rim. He is a mooth and quick player in the open court.

Nigel Williams-Goss 6-4 2013 Henderson Findlay Prep NV – He has solid da averaging 8 points and 6 boards, but it was his defensive prowess and ability t pass it off the dribble that really impressed.

Wayne Selden 6-4 2014 Tilton School NH – This physical and strong wing can spin and slash to rim, pop jumper to the arc or attack off the bounce with strength as he did in opener to finish with 11 points and 6 boards.

DeAngelo Russell 6-3 2014 Montverde Academy FL – Left combo is a point guard in the making scoring 13 points and handing out 8 assists in the opener. He has a sweet stroke to set up drive and dish.

Anton Gill 6-3 2013 Raleigh Ravenscroft NC – He was one of most consistent performers on day one averaging 11.5 points and showing he can run break as well as score with jumper or drive.

Emmanuel Mudiay 6-3 2014 Arlington Grace Prep TX – This long and athletic combo had 14 points in game we watched showing solid stroke off the dribble and ability to finish versus contact.

Solomon Poole 6-2 2013 Jacksonville Parker FL – He had a solid game in night cap scoring 11 points and grabbing 5 boards. He is strong, quick and can knock jumper from three or finish drive.

Quentin Snider 6-1 2014 Louisville Ballard KY – He showed ability to hit jumper off the dribble averaging 10 points for the day. He is a good passer who can play either guard spot.

Anthony Barber 6-1 2013 Hampton H.S VA – He was on fire in game one scoring 16 points with variety of perimeter jumpers and ability to finish around hoop on dribble drive.

Tadrick Jackson 5-10 2014 Tifton Tift County GA – This powerful scoring combo reminds me of the Knicks Isaiah Thomas with his size and ability to score from arc to the rim in 15 point effort in night cap.

Aquille Carr 5-7 2013 Baltimore Patterson MD – This ultra quick scoring point went for 18 points before tweaking his ankle. He knows no fear attacking the rim versus bigs!
